Upskilling, Reskilling of the workforce and Development
It was observed in one of the study report published by Randstad that 40% employees grappled to learn new skill set to adopt to new normal as a consequence of Covid 19 pandemic.
Another study by EY and Nasscom predicted that by 2022, around 46% of the workforce would be engaged in entirely new jobs that do not exist today or will be deployed on jobs that have radically changed skill sets.
Way forward for Upskilling and Reskilling
- Conceptualize & develop Upskilling & Reskilling Development initiatives for improved productivity, building capability and quality enhancement.
- Identification of gaps across levels through mapping of skills required for current and future role.
- Creation of Learning culture for continual improvement.
